CUSTOMER DATA PRIVACY
Cleaning-business customer information
Updated October 7, 2026
Your cleaning business and Tidyflow
Your cleaning business provides your cleaning service and decides how to use customer information for that relationship. Tidyflow operates website and software tools that the business has enabled. This notice describes Tidyflow's handling of cleaning-business customer data, including inquiries, quotes, bookings, customer pages, and messages. It supplements the cleaning business's own notice. It is separate from our marketing-site contact-form policy.
Information and purposes
Enabled tools may handle names, email addresses, phone numbers, service addresses, property and service preferences, quotes, appointments, service history, payment references/statuses, messages, and feedback. Account features may also handle sign-in information. We use these records to provide the business's enabled services, communicate about customer requests, support users, maintain records, and protect the platform. Technical data may include IP addresses, device/browser information, page URLs, referral/campaign information, interactions, and error details. Do not put payment card details or access codes into free-text forms.
Service providers and enabled features
Depending on the feature and website, providers may include Supabase for data and authentication, Resend for email, Twilio for texts, Stripe for payments, Vercel or Cloudflare for website hosting, Upstash for rate limiting, Google Places for address autocomplete, and Sentry for error reporting. PostHog provides product analytics on platform customer pages and may link account activity to an account identifier and role when a user signs in; names and email addresses are not sent to it. A cleaning business can turn on Google Ads conversion measurement for its quote form: the Google Ads tag then runs on that quote form page only, and when a quote is requested a one-way hashed copy of the email address and phone number is sent to Google to measure ad performance. The business may also use the same Google Ads tag for remarketing: showing its ads to people who visited its quote form page when they later use Google services or other websites. Visitors can turn off personalized ads from Google, including remarketing, in Google's My Ad Center (myadcenter.google.com). The Google tag does not run on quote, booking, payment, or customer-account pages, and Google Analytics is not used in the Tidyflow website software. Separate client websites may use their own measurement or embedded video providers; those website-specific tools should be described in the cleaning business's notice. Not every provider or feature is enabled for every business.
Cookies, analytics, and session recording
Account and functional features can use cookies or browser storage. PostHog analytics may also use browser storage to measure page activity and interactions. Where a cleaning business has turned on Google Ads conversion measurement, Google may set advertising cookies on that business's quote form page. Public quote pages also set a first-party cookie, kept for up to 90 days, recording how the visitor arrived (such as an ad click identifier, campaign tags, landing page, and referring website, never contact details); it is saved with a submitted quote so the business can see which ads and channels produce quote requests. Vercel Web Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics are cookieless. We have disabled PostHog and Sentry session replay in the Tidyflow website software; ordinary analytics and technical error reporting remain enabled. A separate client website can have a different technology setup, so consult its own notice as well. Browser controls can limit storage and tracking, although blocking functional cookies may affect account features and does not necessarily stop all analytics requests.
Retention, requests, and messaging preferences
Retention depends on the enabled service, the cleaning business's recordkeeping needs, and provider retention. Start with your cleaning business to ask about a record, request a correction or deletion, or change contact preferences. Tidyflow can help that business review the request and the systems involved. We may need to verify identity and explain legal, security, backup, or provider retention limits. Minimal opt-out records may need to remain so a request stays honored. Requesting a quote does not authorize unrelated promotional texts. Reply STOP to a text's sending number or contact the business about stopping messages; message and data rates may apply. Use an email unsubscribe link when provided for that email category.
